Howdy! Did you know EVERY TOWN has a Democratic Town Committee or “DTC”?
As part of our country’s two-party system— this is a main way YOU can get more deeply involved with local government, meet like-minded neighbors, or just help with elections or issues close to your heart.
Here you will find meeting & event info, names of members, which local offices are held by Democrats, and a variety of ways you can get involved.
What are we about? EAST LYME DEMOCRATS are working to preserve and protect our environment, support quality educational opportunities for our children, ease the burden on seniors and promote affordable living for all, eliminate bigotry, facilitate smart, sustainable growth, and provide transparency and accountability in local government. AND— we believe these aims need not be inconsistent with a healthy economy and support of small business and large local employers.

Come to a monthly meeting, volunteer at an Outreach or Fundraising event, Attend a Candidate Meet & Greet, or follow us on Facebook or Instagram, Did you know you do NOT need to be a Town Committee member to get involved— or even a registered Democrat! But we are especially glad when Democrats come to check out what is happening.
